To say that movie goers were disappointed by Captain Phasma’s role in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS—after the merchandise hype from Disney—is an understatement. Fans, including myself, were stoked to see the “New Boba Fett,” played by the fabulous Gwendoline Christie, but left theaters confused and a little ticked when it was revealed her character had no real substance or impact (other than aiding in the destruction of Starkiller Base) on the story.
But with all that aside, I’m still holding out hope that she comes to play a much larger role in the next STAR WARS flick. To tide me over till Episode VIII, I took to the internet to try to find out some cool things about her character in the hopes of satisfying some of my curiosities.
